Medium Cut Compound strikes the perfect balance between strong paint correction and a refined finish. Designed to remove moderate scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation, it clears away imperfections without overly abrading the paint, refining the surface in preparation for final polishing or sealing. It serves as Step 2 in our 3-step process or Step 1 when followed by MirrorGlaze, helping achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish with less effort and greater confidence.

  Directions for Use

  1.   Prep the Surface: Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly to remove loose dirt or contaminants.

  2.   Shake Well: Gently shake the bottle before use.

  3.  Application Method:

  ○     By Machine (Rotary/Orbital Polisher):

  1.    Use a medium cut foam pad for correction.

  2.    Spread compound on the pad or panel at a low speed.

  3.    Recommended speed for rotary machine- 1250 RPM, applying moderate pressure.

  ○     By Hand (for small areas or spot corrections):

  1.    Apply a small amount onto a foam or microfiber applicator pad.

  2.    Work in circular or back-and-forth motions with firm pressure, focusing on defects.

  4.   Buff Off: Remove residue with a clean microfiber cloth, checking the panel for gloss and defect removal.

  5.   Assess & Repeat: If deeper imperfections remain, repeat or follow with a heavy cut compound. For higher gloss, finish with Mirror Cut.
