HVY Cut Compound is your go-to solution for tackling the toughest paint imperfections, from deep scratches to heavy oxidation. Formulated with high-intensity abrasives, it powers through surface defects while preserving as much paint as possible. Serving as the first step in our 3-step or 2-step correction process, depending on the paint’s condition, it removes deep imperfections and preps the surface for Medium Cut and Mirror Glaze polishing, revealing a smoother, more uniform finish ready for refinement.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Aggressive Defect Removal: Targets severe swirl marks, deeper scratches, and oxidation in fewer passes.
  • Quick Results: Reduces compounding time, especially for heavily damaged or older paints.
  • Pro-Level Versatility: Suitable for both rotary and dual-action polishers; can also be used by hand on smaller areas.
  • Foundation for a Flawless Finish: Sets the stage for medium or fine polishes to bring out a mirror-like gloss.

    Directions for Use

    1. Prep the Surface: Wash and dry your vehicle to remove loose contaminants.
    2. Shake Well: Gently shake the bottle before each use to ensure contents are mixed.
    3. Application Method:

         By Machine (Rotary/Orbital Polisher):

    1.    Use a heavy cut foam pad for heavy correction.

    2.    Spread compound on the pad or panel at a low speed.

    3.    Recommended speed for rotary machine- 800 RPM, applying moderate pressure.

By Hand (for small areas or spot corrections):

    1.    Apply a small amount onto a foam or microfiber applicator pad.

    2.    Work in circular or back-and-forth motions with firm pressure, focusing on defects.

    1. Buff Off: Wipe away residue using a clean microfiber cloth. Inspect the area; repeat if necessary.
    2. Follow-Up: For a mirror-like finish, use a Medium Compound and then Mirror Cut after heavy compounding.
